Holy Sparks: Bead Blessings from the Mystical Judaism Module

Newsletter Issue:
May 2009

Shalom.

The mystic gem is within each of us.

May you:

Experience the beauty of the Divine within.

Shine with the "luminous love light of the One."

Raise Holy Sparks in creative ways.

         Find the holy in simplicity.

Open to the deepest places and let the Divine work in you.

Rest deeply in Shabbat and be renewed body, mind and spirit.

Have peace, know peace, share peace, and be at peace.

From the sacred bonfire created from
this fuel of learning, singing and practice,
may the warmth of many Holy Sparks
      grace our world.

May you be "blessed to find comfort
in being less than perfect." (1)

May the light of Shehkina
    shine upon your path.

And may your heart be filled with Holy Sparks of love,
endlessly replenished by the Source of All.

L'chaim!  To life!

__________________________

The above is drawn from the closing bead blessings that were offered at the April 2009 module, in which we explored Mystical Judaism. At the end of five days together, each module closes with a Bead Ceremony. Students share a bead and a blessing with one another. Thus we leave the module with a small treasure of reminders from our time together.
