Rev. Patrick Curtin, ChI Clergy - Ordained Fall 2009

Rev. Curtin currently works part-time as a Hospice Chaplain at Hospice of Illinois.

Interviewer: What motivated you to pledge your monthly support to ChI?

Patrick:  "I benefited greatly from the Interfaith Ordination program -- I particularly enjoyed the safe community space I experienced with ChI -- and wanted to give back by supporting ChI's mission.”

Interviewer:  How does it feel every month knowing your support continues and has such a positive ongoing impact on ChI?

Patrick:  “This gift is part of my spiritual practice.  So much of spiritual practice is about showing up for me.  This is my way of showing up.”

Interviewer:  Why should others consider joining you as an ongoing monthly supporter of ChI?

Patrick:  “Giving a monthly amount is less intimidating than paying the annual amount all at once, and it more easily fits into my budget.  I set my payment up through on-line banking as a recurring payment.  This is easier to do than having a credit card charge and there are no transaction fees ChI would pay to the credit card company.  It’s easy, and I’m glad to do it.”
