Rev. Jürgen Schwing, ChI Faculty, is an ordained minister and board-certified chaplain whose work is rooted in the Interfaith mystical journey as well as the arts. He is the Spiritual Care Manager for Kaiser Permanente’s Diablo Service Area, where he oversees a spiritual care program for acute care, palliative care, and hospice. Rev. Schwing received his clinical training as a spiritual counselor at Stanford Medical Center and the California Pacific Medical Center. He has an M.A. in Religion and the Personality Science. He has taught at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and he has presented his practices at the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association for Drama Therapy, the American Male Studies Association, and the Institute for Noetic Sciences. Kaiser Permanente has featured his work in Interfaith spiritual care in clinical video conferences throughout its system nationwide.
