What are you doing
With that broken mirror?
Why do you throw it away?
Pick up that piece over there.
Look, what do you see?
Oh yes—it is you.
And that piece over there.
When you look, what do you see?
It is still you ... and you ... and you.
Give it to Mary,
Over there.
Now what is in that mirror?
If you gave it to the Divine to hold,
Would you still need to
Throw it away?
Do you think your heart is broken,
When every piece is just another piece of YOU?
Of the DIVINE ONE?
Why do you toss it away?
So what if there are a few jagged pieces?
The ONE'S reflection is still Divine.
One piece is just
As brilliant
As another.
There is so much light and love,
Who cares about
A few jagged edges?
The Divine does not mind
About broken pieces.
Spirit can still shine from within.
The Divine knows that one piece
Is a part of the Whole
Yet both are perfect and complete.
Like the wave and the ocean
One emanates from the other,
Both perfect and complete in their existence.

It is inside all this
